Agree 100%, I dont argue that people cannot replicate environments to a T, but keeping humidity up is something that can be done easily. Saying that it is wrong to have high humidity is the point I disagree with, because it clearly is the environment they live in.
Oh yes so foolhardy to follow science! Hmm how easy would it be to raise my elevation to 3000ft? Now how hard is it to keep humidity up? Good comparison!!!! Thanks for the pompous remark! that was called for, looks like I pissed one hobbyist off (unintentional)..Im sorry guru please forgive...
You cant say WRONG, its a fact they live in humid forests with very high rainfall..and Peru has a wide variety of habitats including very arid regions. As for the water dish most arboreal T's dont ever come down to the ground in the wild, you think its natural for them to drink this way or is it...
Since they dont drink from a water dish and you dont spray much how do they drink? They might survive under these conditions but they cant thrive, that totally oposite from their natural enviroment and nature knows best no matter how many claims you have.
Screen = bad for arboreals, constantly get their feet stuck in it....and that is a little too much ventilation IMO, people love to dis humidity but it is needed, you just dont want mold.
{D Hehe, yeah I got both of them hanging from the celing with sinew..covered in fur and feathers, have a bunch of fingerbones, and pig skulls up there too, have lots of stuff hanging from the celing....girls dig it they start crying with joy, I think its joy {D
I say scorpions, I used to put real bones in with my T's but high humidity aint that great for bones. I have a few real human skulls and I put one in with my arizona barks for awhile :D
