yeah I was thinking if its his penultimate since he's kind of small, but I guess he'll be a small mm rosea then :D
so do I have to find him a date now? or do I have to wait for him to make a sperm web?
so my rosehair just molted a few days ago and by looking at it closely I can tell that its a male because of the hooks and pedipalps. I was wondering if this is "penultimate"? I dont really know since it's my first time seeing it having the hook thing and he's kind of small too like 3.5-4 inches...
My H. Lividum escaped when I was transferring him to another cage and he just jumped out and ran lightning speed...good thing I spotted where he hid first...that experience was scary xDD
H. maculata was uhm...I dont really think it escaped from me...but I tried handling it once (really stupid...
well...2 months ago after I bought them, several people here in ab actually told me that these specimens are hard to determine (specially H.Lividum) whether they are male or female if the specimens are still a baby, juvenile or sub-adult
ok guys so my 2 Ts molted last night and I'm not sure if they're an adult...the 2 species is haplopelma Lividum and Heteroscodra maculata...and my guess for my H.lividum would be around 4.5 inches legspan....and for the H.mac around 4 inches....and as far as I can see, I don't see any hooks on...
oh thanks selket...^^
oh @gromgrom....
uhm...it was really fat when I got her, I got her from kenthebugguy last april...
and it just gave birth like 3 hours ago....
so i really don't know....
sorry about that...
