I've heard it said that the wages of sin is death. I'm a bit dubious of that but I know for certain that the wages of rescuing a squirrel is becoming a human tree.
I picked one up a few weeks ago on my way down 276. He was sitting in the middle of the road waiting to be squashed. I pulled...
You guys really get it, that's fantastic.
I agree that one should carry a camera everywhere, the crumpler is always on my shoulder. It's to the point that I feel strange walking around the house without the extra weight.
The world is full of beauty in various forms, sometimes it's hard...
Lightroom is a fantastic program but adobe doesn't play well with NEF's, that's the only reason I don't use it. In order to get the best results from a nikon file I'm basically bound to the ever so slow NX3.
Oh, I'm sorry you meant the first one.
No filter for that one either, the midtone caught a particular channel and I chose to stick with it. I'm rather fond of the effect though I have had trouble reproducing it.

Cheers,
Mike

Beautiful, I just came in from the back shower area, there was a similar corn on the partition. I've seen him there a few times but this time held out my hand and let him soak up some heat. I was gentle and the little bugger ended up climbing over me for about fifteen minutes. This one must have...
Thanks,
Actually I picked the D2H up for around 2k last year but they can be had used for around half that now. Too much emphasis is put upon pixel count from most new photographers. I have sold quite a few 16x20 prints from the D2H that were in no way lacking.
I have replaced my old...
Just a few minutes ago I was typing on the PC when I heard Kilo barking his head off in the back room. I figured that he needed out but when I walked back there he was still barking seemingly at the folding chair that I have in the corner. I saw a tail and put kilo in his kennel.
I removed...
