Malinois
SG,
I LOVE Belgians. If I didn't have GSDs, I'd have a Mal or Terv... I have a lot of friends in Mals. From whom did you purchase your lovely pup? He/She is gorgeous. I wish you'd post a few pics. I'm glad you took the time to get the dog from someone who cared. Mals are not for...
Dave is right. The contract is signed in front of a notary which leaves little wiggle room if you decide not to do what you promised. The dogs I deal with are bred to be worked and if they aren't they can be really destructive, neurotic, and sometimes dangerous. So a good breeder is very careful...
Pelo,
I'm a canine behaviorist that just recently went through the same thing with my personal dogs. Graf was a wreck after loosing Raven. There are some other things you can try as well. PM me with your phone number if you want a free consultation:D I hate all this typing, and Bouvs are a tad...
Since I shared with ya'll Raven's death, I thought I'd tell you about part 2.
After much soul searching, I decided not to pursue getting another German Shepherd for a while. I just didn't feel the timing was right to go out and interview breeders etc. and thought I'd just commit it to God and...
Check out the , Memo to the Pets", on the same page. It's pretty cute too. I especially appreciate the statement about the king size bed!!! SHEESH! Where is the love?

Always hangin' out
My brachys are always out as well as the pamphos. I also have a new love.
Hatian Browns.
IMNSVHO: They are one of the most under rated sp. on the market. The Schultz book calls them a plain brown spider with a bad attitude, but when I started working with them, I fell...
Korean T's?
IU,
You mentioned that in Korea, you do not have a lot of Mexican sp. I'm curious as to the reason. Are import laws prohibiting the ready distribution od Captive born s'lings from the US and Europe? Are there any other Genus that are hard to come by?
Tell us about your society...
Fav. Genus:
Pamphobeteus!!!! but I'm hooked on NW terrestrials. Every once in a while, I'll venture out and get something OW, or arborial, but I always end up trading it and going back to keeping strictly NW terrestrials. Exception....P. irminia gotta' dig that red and black!
@ the other...
We just moved about 2,000 miles and had great success in transporting the Ts. One thing I did was purchased various sizes of Rx bottles from the phamacy in which to put the spidies. ...along with a damp paper towel. For the huge ones, I used critter keepers etc. I placed the whole lot in a...
Thank you
Thank You All. I appreciate each of your sentiments. It does help to hear that other people love their pets deeply. I haven't said anything to anybody about it because I believe to have someone reply, "Well, she's just a dog, get over it", or "go to the pound and replace her" etc...
I lost my Raven this week. I have a hole in my soul that will never heal. She was the last of my first pack, being proceeded in death by Ajax, Kat, Heidi , India, and Rio.
Graf and I are lonely.
Our best friend is gone although her scent and memories still fill our house.
Without her...
Never Again
She died in the night.
That's it. I'm done. Thank you all for your concern. I'm just at a loss to know what I've done.
To answer the questions:
They were all WC Females, 2 adults and 2 subadults. Purchased from the same distributor/importer.
3 Haplo sp. (pet trade minax)
1...
I'm curious. WHY? Not a sarcastic question...enquiring minds, etc. etc. etc.
I like 'em both but would take a pampho or X over a Brachy because they are out in the open more, are a bit more fiesty, are larger, accept prey more readily, and have those wonderful irredescent colors.
But...
Since s'lings are very apt to contract fungal and bacterial infections which cause their deaths, yes. I would remove them. I don't think you can be too fastidious with cleanliness when it comes to slings.

OK I'm really mad!
I have had 4 Asian sp. (Haplopelma) since I started keeping T's. They have all died, and I'm fixin' to loose my last one. I recieved her as a gift 3 weeks ago. I had vowed never to purchase another after I lost my Cobalt.
I was so excited to see her out of her hole, but...
In my book, you got a great deal whatever it happens to be. I love Pamphos! Hopefully you will be able to enjoy the spider for what it is and not be too disappointed that it's not an X. immanis.
Cool spider!
