Some people just like to post a whole bunch of times to increase their post count. Or because they like the sounds of their own.. typing.
The scorp in the picture looks comatose! There's no way he could keep something like that is his hand and not be hospitalized if it was...
I was always a little amused when they put a fear factor contestant in a tank with emps. The contestant always freaks out, convinced they will die if they make a single move. :wicked:
The first time I saw a scorp being eaten on the show was when they made cocktails out of gross stuff, and...
Communal tanks are really awesome to watch, with all those little critters running about. :D Then again, Bicolors are really cool too. {D Ultimately, it's up to you and your wallet.
Great pics Brian!
This doesn't seem all that fair to the scorp, since there are a pair of tweezers holding its tail back so it can't sting. :(
Personally, I think whichever is fastest would win.
Good site for caresheets:

The Scorpion files are pretty good too.

And a search of arachnoboards can do wonders too. :) Good luck! {D
I suppose size doesn't matter that much. If it's large, the scorpion might rest in it, which is fine. If it's small, he'll still use it, and it'll help with the humidity levels either size.
:)
That is kind of annoying, when you have all these crickets and a scorpion that doesn't want to eat... if worst comes to worst, just let the crickets live for a while, and if they die, they die.
Wait a few more days before feeding again. Your scorpion might be ready to eat by then. :)
Congrats on the new little ones! You'll have to let us know how it goes as they get bigger. And, of course, you must post vast amounts of pictures all the time. :)
I'm not thinking tan lines, sun, and surf, if that's what you mean Vys. :)
Beaches, no matter where they are, are always my favorite places to go. Wind, sound of water, and an excuse to take my shoes off (unless it's rocky....but even then I might). :D I find New England's beaches to be...
Haha, I win! {D
For some reason, I really dig the skinny guys. And Over, if you're skinny and live near a beach, I'll be over quicker than you can say "find your passport." ;)
Are you keeping the crickets in the same tank as the scorpions? If so, then you should definitely remove them and place them in a separate container. If your scorpion molts, the crickets could attack and kill it. :( It's better to keep the crickets and scorpions separated so that something...
Welcome. :) I hope that you enjoy being here and chatting with everyone. Among all the members is a fountain of knowledge that you can tap into. Have fun!

I agree with that statement! Poking the poor thing is just going to cause him stress and will hurt him in the long run. You also don't want to frighten him into running when he shouldn't, since it might cause him to hurt himself.
I hope your poor little one gets better. :o
Sorry, sorry sorry!
Ok, I'm the one on the right, and the dress was orange (the pic made the color different than in real life). Kristin is on the left. And I'm an idiot. :8o
*looks at hands, makes L-shapes* ok, I think I got it now! Yeah, I totally got this direction thing now!
