none of my T's burrow...i have drift wood in each tank just so the tank isn't bare and all my T's climb on them, i haven't seen 1 of my T's try to burrow yet...
I keep mine in a 29 gallon tank
with potting soil, and a water dish
and a piece of drift wood for her to climb on
I feed her full grown mice, one every couple days
for her crickets and pinkies are too small
if you want to make it more colorful then maybe you can put some fake fish tank things in there like seedweed, or like little plants....unless the plastic will hurt the T's which i doubt it will....
Well the set up for my birdeater is....
29 gallon tank
potting soil for bedding about 5 inches deep (maybe 6)
a big piece of like drift wood for decoration
a good sized water dish
and i have a heating lamp on top of the cage
if your wondering why i have a 29 gallon tank for her (alot...
I use potting soil with peat moss already mixed in, its dark, prolly just like yours, i don't have anything on top other than a safe shelter, and a tree limb for them to climb on....
I haven't got bit by any of my T's yet, but i was just wondering how you guys/gals would treat a bite :?
I have some ideas on how i would, but i wanted to know what ya'll would do.
thanks,
Matt
