Awesome, she just flipped over, right next to the water dish, with her legs that were against the wall, are just at the edge of the water dish. I'll take a pic in a sec.
My tarantula just started her molt just now! I saw her walk out from under her rock, go near the water disk and start to try to flip over. She isn't quite on her back, and she is moving like she is trying to. I think i know the answer to this Q, but should i help her flip onto her back or should...
 NEMATODES!! I thought my T had those for a while, but it was just somthing caught on her fang (web and something attached to it and she refused food).
How do you "stop" nematodes? :(
Sorry i haven't really replied. I cought one about 4 years ago...it was a crazy mofo! Fast and aggressive. I haven't really seen any around since then. The one i cought when it was alive was a lot bigger than this one (probably 3.5" rear leg to front leg) and a lot more great and hairy. It was...

I have seen these in the...

Probably your local Rite Aid or Longs store has nice cheap plain 'ol potting soil with peat moss already mixed in it. That's what i use. About $5.00 for a big big bag of the stuff, and it has no fertilizers in it at all (except perlite which doesn't harm T's i hear...).
Again, i hate bringing up my old topics, but i can't figure out what's hanging off of my t's fang, and something in her mouth (looks like a fluid). She isn't acting like she has nematodes (she calmed down a lot, looks plump still etc..) it's been about a week since i noticed her first starting...
