    I now place all my ZooMed pads in the same position. Centered from front/back on the SIDE of the tank glass at 1/4in. above the lower platic tank frame. I also use the 8Watt pads regardless of tank size.

    Whatever music you choose, make sure to cut the bass to nothing. I wish I never heard that garbage in traffic, I'm certain they will be less annoyed.

    I am of the opinion that the individual in question, most likely sat down to "use the facilities", and the scorpion was clinging under the toilet seat. :eek: This same scenario also occurs with venomous spiders.

    I would have to go with C. exilicauda, my personal favorite. If I could only have a single species it would be this one. They are very beautifully proportioned and sculpted, not to mention ultra-communal as previously stated. Of all the scorpions I have kept, I find myself watching them the most.

    May I ask where that information came from?, I did my collecting in 1987. I also found specimens in the Grand Coulee/Coulee Dam region.

    Tom, congratulations, those look wonderful. I wish you much luck with raising/breeding the T.trinitatis, those are a big favorite of mine. Someday I hope they will be available in the US, very nice. :)

    I went to the old (no longer used) airstrip in Ephrata WA and found lots and lots of U. mordax. Just start flipping stones, you'll find bunches. :)
