hey guys! my girlfriend and i just picked up a baby albino corn snake. it is about a foot long maybe as thick as a pencil around the middle. for now at least i am using coco fiber for substrate. i have a heat pad under one side of the tank keeping it around 75*F and a ceramic heat bulb on the...
if she is gravid she probly just anted some "alone" time and kicked him out.
as far as the covered burrow she will be just fine. i had a cave in on two of my emps and they dug the way back out. but i doubt she would give birth in the burrow only because the room constraints but i am unsure of...
i had an emp with the same leg missing and she did just fine. in fact she was the ninja of my scorpions and managed to climb a plant all the way to the top of my tank and then grab on to the screen top and just hang for a little bit. thank goodness for screen clips or she may have figured out a...
i hope they will be compensating you for your losses. the biggest reason for the use of scientific names is the fact that "giant forest scorpion" could be about a dozen different things. but don't worry after awhile it is second nature. what other kinds of exotic pets do you own?
hmmmm.
zeus has a son perceus. leader of argus has baby perceus and his mom thrown out to sea. zeus gets mad has the kraken destroy the city. sends baby perceus

it is very common for scorpions to go without eating for extended periods of time. i recall someone here mentioning a flat rock scorpion they had that had gone almost a year without eating. some factors may include over feeding previously, being premolt, being gravid, or just finicky.
the whole movie looks BA! the animation on the scorpions looks sweet. but in a way i still like the old one even with its sub-par(by todays standards) clay animation.
i knew that they were partenogenic but will she have multiple broods this way? also i know many species that reproduce this way only have female young. is the same true with H. H.? i know that komodo dragons are for instance rare for the fact that they reproduce this way and have both sex offspring.
i am cleaning both of my scorpion tanks today. i have realized that i may or may not have a problem. spiders. just normal small spiders. in both tanks. i live in wisconsin it gets cold here in winter and spiders move indoors, that is fine, but in my scorpion tanks? is this a problem? i am...

i have also heard if you have hard water the minerals from the water can cause a build up on the glass they can sometimes climb. mind you i am not sure if deathstalkers need the tank misted or not.
the slings are going to need a bit more humidity to help the molting process. what some people do is just lightly mist the side of whatever container you have them in. or you could just keep a small bottle cap full of water in with them. i have heard of both.
