    I don't believe it's an actaeon because he is too red. I've read they have a color change when they become an adult. This one didn't. PS: I don't believe in common names. It is a confusing way to name animals.

    It should be an Theraphosa apophysis but I thought it was a female. Let's doublecheck that. edit: I checked, and double checked and even tripple checked... My girl is having little hooks which means it can't be a girl. So...I have an adult male!

    2x No :p Don't focus on the purple. When you see my girl in daylight, you don't see any purple. PS: I'm not 100% sure that it is what I think and what they told me it is.
