    I got a dissecting microscope off of Ebay. I found that a standard microscope didn't leave me much room to put a molt onto the viewing platform where as a dissecting microscope has plenty of room.

    Same here, about a week. Though I've had some eat all the way up to night before molting. And I've had some refuse a meal and molt days later. You don't know exactly when premolt started especially if you feed once a week like some of us do.

    Seriously?? Maybe they weren't happy with it. When that happens I just start misting the web. Works pretty well for me.

    Just an update. Checked on the guys today and I now have 1st instars!!! I will wait a few days to get pics. Don't want to disturb the incubator too often. :) BTW, I counted 143 eggs with legs.
