I've noticed this in a few of my B. smithi juvi's. Rather then looking like a straight line down the abdomin it looks more like a cracks or lighting bolts. All of my T's that had this, molted within a month of the "lines" showing up. I would guess that if your T is refusing...

I am surprised he has adapted so fast....he was a pain in the rear at times for me but I am glad he is getting along....nice pic's by the way...make me proud to see my old guy on the boards....all his brothers and sisters back home hope he makes nieces and nephews for them!
