There a countless threads about transfering these guys. I have moved mine a few times without much trouble. I start by removeing all the substrate around the web tunnnel and then carefully start decontructing that. Once the blue bomber comes out it would be in max threat display and I just plop...
Cricket frog? I am not sure but those might be the same thing we call peepers around here. The ones that sit there and chirp and chirp all dang night long. Problem is, where you find those you also tend to find snapping turtles, snappers get big around here. I for one would not risk my legs or...
Pink toes actually need a little higher humidity anyway. Dont worry over mold unless you see it starting to grow in there. If it does pop up just take out the bit of substrate that is growing the rest should ok.
I sent out a mature male for breeding and the person who has him was haveing this same thing happen with his female. After consulting with some of the more well know breeders they gave him the advice to cool the female down for a couple of days. He placed her in an area that was around 60-65...
Not really sure here since I have never kept a scorpion but a good rule of thumb is "dead flesh begets more dead flesh". Lets assume the bacteria has spred to the rest of the scorp. Amputating the affected limb is not going to do it any more damage than already has been done but not doing so...
Since OBT's do not require lots of space I have found that rehouseing them in a 20 gallon tank works well. I place both the new home and the old into the tank and place a screen lid onto it. I use hooks covered with gauze and tape to gently prod the spider in the direction I want it to go. Once...

First rule of thumb when it comes to a Rose Haired...
Nothing is wierd. They will do anything and everything that will confuse and dumbfound the keeper. When you notice your T doing something you consider wierd.... do a happy dance because your t is healthy and normal.
You might have seen what is called a "White Footed Mouse" Apperance wise they are extreamly similar to the deer mouse but a little larger in size. They are very good climbers since seeds and the like are a majority of it's diet.
What ever happend to catching them the old fashioned way. Wad out into about a foot of water where there is a nice rock bed. Gently flip the rocks trying not to disturb too much silt. You should be able to see them resting on the bottom. Slowly move your hand to cup them from above and...
We have been catching some rodents here lately. We are trying to figure out what they are. Description wise they are very close to a deer mouse or white footed mouse but the sticking point is size. These things are way bigger than any size comparision we can find. Both species mentioned above...
As far as raiseing these go they are about as bullet proff as it gets. I have never used a water dish for these since the webbing gets in the way. Just feed them and dribble some water in there every few day and you should have a happy/grumpy pet.
