Wow. Horse flies are common here, just have never seen one that big.

I found this in my garage. It flew into my face when I walked out there. Almost had a damn heart attack, I thought it was a bee. It looks just like a giant fly. Never see one this big thou. I'm in west Texas if that helps any. Pack of smokes for size comparison.

She is doing pretty good. She has laid 6 eggs. I have been giving her water and the occasional drop of honey. Anything else I should be doing? Is too much honey bad?
