Mine dug a hole and buried herself for a month. She molted down in her burrow. I almost forgot what she looked like. I dug her up and found the most beautiful T. I feed her dead crix. She is one of my favorites.
Well, it seems that my Grass Spider had babies. She has what looks like a web egg sac in her container. I was hoping that all those tiny dark things were some substrate in her web but now I have some babies running around the cage. If the rest of them come out, I will have hundreds of these...
When I orderd my sling, they sent it out the next day. I recieved it the following day. That makes TWO days from my ordering day. It depends on the day they send it.
substrate
My substrate was about 4 inches but when I dug her up I took out about 2" leaving about 2 inches so that she wouldnt burrow so deep again. I read that if given enough substate, they will burrow. I'll wait a week or so then maybe make it deep again.

I bought one a month ago. They called it a Stripped Knee. A. seemani. It was about 2 1/2 inches and paid 12 dollars. Put it in the cage and it burrowed. Thats the last I saw of it. Every few days I hold up the cage and look into the bottom to make sure it is still alive. I wonder what the top...

I would suggest a B. smithi or B. emilia. Both of these T's are hardy, easy to keep, and most of all will be displayed more than other terrestrial (they dont stay burrowed and out of sight most of the time). If you only had one, I'm sure you would like to see it! Good luck.
