yeah thats a shot in the dark trying to id they that young
all the granulations and ext are just developing so it would be a crap shoot
at an id until it matures and you can have a positive id on them
being a panidus species it would need deeper substrate
enough for it to make itself a good burrow
and yes cavimanus tends to like more humidity
panidus species do fast from time to time who knows why but they do
but it seems to be ok its normal for them not to eat for months at a time...
its worth checking out if you need info on them
more people should do articles on different species
like on venomlist with the scorpion of the month :D
they prove to be well used and needed so this is good for the hobby

get a cricket or a roach and take the head off
get some 8+ inch tweezers
take te cricket or roach and put it up to the scorpions mouth parts
and see if it starts taking it and if or when it does let it go and leave it be
you can try that its easy enough to do

florida you need a permit for buthids but thats all and ny you just cant have them :barf:

they arent the only food source i would use as they arent
a real good source of food for much of anything realy
nut they would be a good starter for tiny slings

sac spiders cause the same bite wound as a recluse
i had a bite from one last year and it was a hole hahaha nasty
well after it got cleaned out by the dr.s it was a hole
