I just bred a pair of T. plumipes for the first time and I had to share. It was successful with multiple insertions. The female chased the male around the cage afterword and almost ate him, which was really scary. Fingers crossed I get a sac. Anyone know how long this species normally takes...
I have a mature male T. plumipes and a thought to be juvenile T. plumipes. Their cages are next to each other and the juvenile was drumming to the mature male. Does that mean the juvenile is a female that is ready to breed? Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I just don't want to take any...

I just wanted to get some opinions on this. I have some leftover wax worms lying around that I would like to feed my spiders and I just want to make sure that they are safe. Does anyone on here use their baits as feeders?
What is the longest successful breeding loan you have ever experienced? From when you sent the tarantula out, to when you got the spiderlings. And with what species?
