    This is not a minax, not even the lighter variety. This most likely is H. longipes, but to be more certain better pics, and some info on where the importer got it from would help. Here are two of mine, very different in appearance, both only 2-3 weeks post molt.

    Once again, this is a juvie A. seemani. Once it molts you will see more defined striping on the legs. The orange spinnerets are the tell.

    Post a picture showing the spinnerets. This could be A. seemani, if the spinnerets are orange, you have an A. seemani. Juveniles look nothing like their mature counterparts. Light striping on the legs, and orange spinnerets are the sign to look for.

    Naw not L. violaceopes, maybe a Chilobrachys. Def Asian. Doesn't look like it but, maybe an adult female C.validus, some have just recently come into the country I have one, looks close.

    This is a juvie Aphonopelma seemani. Recently there has been a large number of these hitting the market under the name "stripe knee tarantula". The orange spinnerets are a dead giveaway.

    There is a shop called "Marks Ark" on Redwood rd. that was actually a great shop when I lived in SLC (about 10 yrs ago)... I think Mark sold the store, but it still is called Marks Ark Inc...
