Well my I found my rosie dehydrated yesterday morning, I ICU'd her and she drank some water, and her abdomen plumped back up, but she hasn't moved to speak of except slight leg wiggles, and her legs are still curled under her. I know, I know she's a rosie but this is not like her.
So an update on my little rosie:
After finding her in her water dish for a few more mornings, yesterday morning I found her curled up in a very death-curl looking way in her water dish (right-side up), barely responding to touch. I put her in an ICU but had to leave for work, when I got back...
I'm am almost positive that a tarantula would not set about to purposefully end its own life, if that is what you mean by committing suicide. However, I think a spider can definitely commit acts that will harm themselves, (think climbing too high and falling, hence not wanting too tall of an...
Har! That would be cool. But seriously, I know rosies are weird, she's proved that before on many occasions. But trying to drown herself seems to be a bit extreme.

Also, one of my spiders (Pixie) just ate a cricket! So I feel better about that now. {D
So I just got my first Ts, two little half inch G. rosea slings! They are so cute... Anyway, I have crickets for them, but I was wondering if waxworms are doable at all at this size. I have waxworms for my turtle and they are less of a pain than crickets (no jumping!)
Also I got my slings on...
