I've heard of using mice as more of a "treat" thing than an actual diet. More or less something to give them occasionally. I buy more in to finding other insects to feed them than rodents.

Anyway, my mom has one of these, a full grown female named Zelda, and you pretty much never see her except for the tips of her "toes". They don't get called a "pet hole" for nothing.

My mom's mature male got to be about as big as a rosie though a little skinnier in the legs. Feed them alot and they seem to grow faster. About a year and a half until his mature moult. Thankfully he did sire a healthy egg sac and she got several slings out of deal, which are growing very well...
Hmmmm...remind me to wear goggles when I am around some of our big hairkickers. :eek:
Seriously though, I guess it isn't much of a stretch to consider that the way those hairs look (under a microscope of course) that they could cause some real damage if one is not careful.

I had to be quick with the shots because she didn't stay still either. It takes patience and the ability to snap a shot really quick. The flower is something related to a lily that grows out of lava rocks. My dad sent it to my mom for a present (rather expensive flower but the guy buys her...
Really, you should just clean out leftover meals, dead prey, mold, fungus or if you see mites. But I think it comes down to a person's preference.

I love my mom's regalises "Neeta" and "Raja". Both are very calm, beautiful and don't web the tank to the extremes like some of the T's we have. Raja is out in the open more than Neeta but I can watch both girls since they have their hides in a spot where they can easily be seen. I definitely...

Speaking of "poo shooting", I got christened by my male Avic. avic. "Ditto" for the first time. He never did that before, but he has been a bit irritable. Probably because I have never been able to get him a date.
