Just don't try to touch it or hold it and you are fine. Make sure it can't get out and put it on a high shelf. Just get one if you want. First time I saw a deathstalker I bought it. I went from a emp to a flat rock to deathstalker to the andros. They are fast though. Be careful.
I have them in thier own rubbermaid takealongs container so them finding the crickets is not a problem. The other day I fed them and one kinda rolled around trying to sting it.
Thanks for the fast reply. I just got two A. bicolor a week ago tomorrow. They are 3I pretty much the size of a penny. I fed them a very small cricket and maybe about 30 seconds of it being in the scorps got it, stung it, and started running around with it. They are mean little buggers. But I...
I'm just wondering everyone's feeding schedule. I have some really small babies and I'm not trying to starve them or at the same time over feed them. Do you do small crickets more often or large maybe once a week?
I would keep a lot of single set-ups. Just so you know that each one is eating and more missing out on food get getting messed with by others. It's also always possible to introduce them to each other in hopes of trying to breed them.
I should be getting these nice little devils next wednesday from thiscodia! Seeing how small and young how long should I expect to wait til I'm able to see if I can get a breeding pair?
Yeah that's pretty garbage to me. They just come in and take what they want? Sucks because I'm not too far from you in Wisconsin. Watch I bet they have people that monitor forums like this and find who has what and then decide who they are gonna it. We are all being watched.
The local shop has a A. australis that is really tiny. Maybe a little over an inch. I'm pretty sure it is A. australis from how dark the stinger is. Only thing is that it's tail is not fat yet. I know it's still a young one but how long does it usually take for them to fatten up?
Good to know. What about when they are older? Do you just put them together and watch them to see if they mate then take them away from each other again?
I'd like to get them young as possible but also know what sex they are. If they are kept together will it be a problem or should I keep them in seperate cages?
