    Ferret tricks and diy bedding..

Thank you for your reply. I'm going to buy some of that vitamin supplement this weekend. The collar thing works for a little while until she pulls it off. We're ferret-sitting and the other ferret is much bigger. Like the size of a cat. He plays with our small dog and can hold his own...

    Ferret tricks and diy bedding..

Hey guys, I'm back with some more questions concerning our favorite little fuzzbutts. I bought my first ferret some two months back, with the help of some members on this board. Since then I couldn't be happier with this decision. They are a great pet and so much fun to watch and interact...

    Molt question

Question about the molt process - Do tarantulas grow immediately post-molt or do they come out bigger? I ask because my recently-molted T looks about the same size. Way better, though. With a reloaded arsenal of butt-hair. Thanks guys.

    B. smithi in pre-molt!

She's almost finished. When I left for work, she was just getting the last of it off her. It's an awesome experience - last night I saw her web and I knew it would be soon. I was on the computer this morning and remembered that she made it - looked over - surprise! My first molt!

    Fruit flies vs. small crickets

I fed the OBT's. One of the small crickets died, probably from me squeezing it too hard. The OBT went for it. The other one lived, but was snatched up by the OBT a second later. I love this species.

    Fruit flies vs. small crickets

The OBT's are about 1/4", same as the versi. The LP is around 1". I've been able to feed the LP chopped up Super Worm.

    Fruit flies vs. small crickets

For slings. I've had slings for the past few weeks and have been feeding them flightless fruit flies from Petco. No molts yet. I have 2 versi slings, 2 OBT slings, and an LP. I bought some small crickets from Petco, and the OBT's seemed to like them A LOT more. Now my question - can I expect...

    Thinking about getting a ferret...

So I bought the ferret yesterday. The girlfriend and I brought him home and set up his cage. The cage has two levels. We bought some fleece fabric so we could make him a hammock, but she's just been using it as a blanket (we didn't set it up as a hammock yet). She's small, the girl at Petco said...

    Super worms have legs?!

So today I was cleaning out my A. seemanni's enclosure, right? And I dug up a few old prey items which were not consumed (seems like all of my T's are in pre-molt, atm). One of them was an old super worm. The other was another super worm with.. legs. I am pretty sure this was a very old prey...
