This little guy was sold to me as T. apophysis but it looks like a T. stirmi to me. I am very good at telling apart goliaths and burgundys but I have never seen a pinkfoot before

I believe they grow something like 3 feet in the first year. I'm not 100% on that though. I voulenteer at a snake shop during the weekend and we work with alot of boas, it seems like the first year they grow very rapidly.we get alot back after the first year it seems because of size issues. I...
rainbow boas are gorgeous! I've been thinking about getting a pair for a while, but I think I will wait untill I'm out of college before I get anymore animals.
In my group of friends and at school I am known as the animal guy, at
last count, I had just about 40 different animals at one time, but I have been keeping animals since I was 5, almost 13 years. But I had a friend who was trying to get rid of about a 4 year old red iguana, I said I would take...

that just really confused me. Haha its not your fault. Its just really hard for me to find much, if anything decent or relevant about solpigids online, so your terms just don't make sense to me. Haha
what kind of solpugids are found out here? I just caught one tonight, its body is about 3/4 of an inch long, and 1/4 of an inch wide. Colored similarly to a camel spider, I will try to post pictures tomorrow. Thanks for any help.
they can be kept similar to cornsnakes, just a little warmer, and less humid. My first snake was a male speckeled king. He is a great snake, now because of him I have 7 other snakes. Haha
I put most of my snakes in feeder bins when I feed them. As long as you can watch them and make sure they don't ingest substrate when they eat, you should be fine. Like it has been said before if you watch them drink, they really don't open their mouths wide enough to ingest anything.
I have seven snakes, 3 of which are corns, ranging from a few months old, to about 5 years old, and I have never had any problems with impaction at all. good luck with your new snake.
I was working a couple days ago and was moving some tables and found a very large female widow inches away from my hand. she had an egg sack near her, but co workers destroyed it, i took the spider home. she laid another egg sack within a day. but what i was really wondering was what species of...
