ooh...that is a sweet ball....I love the irregular patterned once even more so than the morphed colours(unless its piebald ofcoarse:)). Reduced and genetic stripes are nice too...but that one is smokin!:)

hey Aidan, I really like bloods...mainly for they're appearance, although they don't like to show themselves too much:). Its hard to make a recommendation....start looking around..see what catches your interest...there's so many to choose from its really a matter of personal preference...
I should've mentioned that the silvery colour was noticed right after a shed and then darkened after a couple of days...not sure if it changes between sheds as well...but I will pay closer attention to this...just before shed he becomes very milky in colour...more so than most snakes as far as...
Tim, I've heard that, as well as light being an influence, but his light and temps are steady. I'll just have to make note of it when it happens and see if I can make some sort of conclusion.

a couple of comparison pics showing the changes in head colour on my sumatran short tail....it goes back and forth...I'm thinking it may have something to do with the shed cycle.

just a little update on my babies:)...they were born the beginning of July...about 10 of them....I sold a few and kept the rest....I've kept them housed with mom and they're doing very well. They've burrowed down into the gravel level of the enclosure so I rarely see them all...usually there is...
Mike, the ball pythons are a bit more stalky which is what attracted me to them...it was the first species that I bought.
