The people at our post office do the same thing. First they hand it too the 199 year old in the back who shakes like a 9.0 earthquake, then they get it to the lady in the front with a somewhat manly voice, and she flips it 10 or 100 times till she finds the label.
Ive asked them to be...
Your best bet would be either Lobster roaches and or Turkestan roaches. Hardest to kill in my opinion, and if they have food and a water source, they arent just going to die. And to get them to breed, just throw a heating pad under them.
Enjoi,
Alex
Jumping spider, Wolf spider, some unknown centipede, and a whole buncha snakes and lizards.
Been slapped by some of my Ts, but thats about it.
I hope it stays this way...
Enjoi,
Alex
I have a beardie that I love to death.
If you wanna keep it cheap
-tote box, repti-carpet (easy to clean)
-Compact florescent lights, heat lamp
-roach colony (start with about 500 or so if you want to start using them right away.
-canned beardie food
-Go find some decor...
Garter snake. About 10 yrs old. Deal with my parents was that if he got out, that was the end of it. And as you could guess, he was out within a week. Found him a couple weeks later while I was cleaning out my aquarium. Climbed into one of the buckets of water that I was using.
Now this has...
My C fasiatum has calmed down quite a bit. And it was storming when this episode origionally happened... Who knows?
I think temps and humidity could be a major factor too. My Ts are easier to work with when they are kept in the 70s then when they are in the 80s.
Alex
Lets just say theres no such thing. I officially have the MOST aggressive C. fasiatum, when just a couple days ago was the definition of angelic tarantula. She reared up into a threat posture the minute I opened up her enclosure. Then, remembering how docile this tarantula normally was (never...
The resolution to this problem is obvious!
Dont really have the pics but....
Get them all! You are gonna end up doing that anyways eventually.
But If I had to choose I would go with---->
1. B emelia
2. B klassi
3. B smithi
4. B boehmei
Enjoi,
Alex
I voted A. seemani, cause they are beautiful, docile, and uber cheap. Definately one of my fav Ts. If not that L parabyhana.
But then again there is an adult female G auestriata in the classifieds...
Enjoi,
Alex
Shes gone
She started to molt about noon today. But never completed. This whole situation makes me sick. I was REALLY looking forward to this T.
At least I still have the others, and I could always try again.
Alex
Ya, the premolt, temps, and the bumpy ride must have been what did it. It always ticks me off when the lady at the post office just chucks the box onto the counter, shakes and flips the box until she finds the side with the label. Ive explained to her what was in the box a couple times before...
I received a couple tarantulas this morning in the mail, and one of them seems totally out of it.
Im used to opening the little deli cups, to a bouncy T ready to jog a couple miles. But this time, the adult female C. fasiatum totally seemed out of it. She sat there looking all dazed, and was...
