was my intention at first, i let the dish sit there without any water in it after a few weeks with water and found him face down in the empty cap( its real small so i doubt it could drown) also he abdomen is very big compared to its size and i see these lines under his carapace ? stretch marks...

1" abouts, maybe a bit more, his abdo is getting beefy so im cutting back on the crix a bit.

filled up my juvie b.boehmei's little water cap and he kicked a good bit of dirt in it, so i cleaned it out and put more water in. then i left for the weekend and come back to find he completely cover the water cap and smoothed out about half his critter keeper ( looks damn nice though)...

yeah it was just from an individual cricket i got from petsmart, i killed it this morning when i saw it wasnt eaten overnight. Left it in his enclosure for a few hrs and picked it up and saw that worm, weird.

So i gave my sling a small cricket, it didnt want it live so i smashed its head and left him there and later i picked the uneaten cricket out and on my hand was a tiny worm of some sort. Just curious what was this worm?

Also mine Runs away from all live food i offer, even substantually smaller than him/her. But take that same cricket and do some Hulk smash on its head and he goes for it fast. You experience this too with yours? mines 1'' +-.

Hey quetsion to OP, Could you post a pic of your Boehmei ?? I have a sling myself ( my first!!) and wanted to know how yours looks.

Yes a premoult, my sling just molted a few days ago and his abdomen was like that for weeks prior then the whole thing darkened in a day and molted a week after it was completely dark. You'll notice it when it get completely dark I was shocked haha.

b.boehmei , the whole shriveled molt is attached to the back of his leg.

My sling moulted last night and the skin is stuck to his left back leg and he drags it around, what should i do ?

UPDATE: so its 15 hrs after, it Seems like the molt is stuck to him, he moved out of his burrow a bit and it seemed to me like it was trailing him ( not sure because he didnt move that much) I sprayed some water around maybe it will help. But now he is just sitting in his burrow with the...

he is squirming around in his burrow, i wanna take the molt out but its underground. Touche tarantula :clap:

b.boehmei sling molting in his burrow, no exit, upside down. Everything looks fine but he has little to no space.... should i dig him out, he looks more fine but he is very cramped in there
