    Getting a Veiled Chameleon

The study at UC davis listed in the sources section of your post, as well as others have shown the sap may not only cause eye infections, but also skin legions, rashes and overall irritation to reptiles. On a more personal note the sap from Ficus rubera is sticky enough to trap young...

    Getting a Veiled Chameleon

Some Ficus sp. are toxic to animals that eat vegetation, and a veiled cham is one of those animals. Personally, I use Hibiscus for all my chameleons.

    reputable breeder?????

Personal responsibility maybe? I recently sold off a complete collection of hot snakes. While it's legal for me to sell to anyone over 18 (in my state, YMMV) I was very selective to who I sold the 'hot hotts" to. (Cobras, Crotalids, and various adders). Not my fault if they get bit and...

    Man died from Tarantula bite

There's 2 papers in DC, the Times and the Post. The Times has been know to have a bit of sensationalism in them. The Post, OTOH, would only print this story if they could somehow prove the "deadly" tarantulas and geckos were Democrats, Libertarians, or Green Party Members :D

Most are. Nix that- all will, eventually. It's often quite difficult to get certain species to accept pinkies at all, let alone dead ones. Possibly, those species aren't being bred in numbers in the UK...off to google I go :D

    "Die Pinkie, DIEEEEEEEEEEE"

What type of Tarantula and how big of an anole? Anoles can bite hard and thrash around enough to pull a leg off or rupture the softer parts of the excoskeleton. If in doubt pop it in the fridge for a few minutes to slow it down (the anole that is). It won't live very long without...

    Feeding my T an orange..?

the parts of fruit and veggies Humans are too picky to eat work great too. Bananna peels, apple/pear cores, watermelon rind, celery tops, carrot tops, etc. etc. In warmer months, if you're sure there's no spraying, dandelion leaves and field clover are healthy greens too.
