    Most docile, least poisonous centipede?

Well since your set on doing this, I'd recommend an S. Polymorpha. They are cheap and easy to find, also pretty hearty and don't require a lot of care to survive. If you want to hold one, get a cup or stick to let it go into/onto first then let it find it's way to your hand. DO NOT force it, you...

    pede escape!! what now?

Hi Cody, I live in Missouri also. I dont think a Mutilans would last very long around here in the 80+ degree weather without water. We have the craziest rain around here though so theres no telling. I have lost a couple pedes, and even though it sucks at least you didnt lose a S. Gigantea or...

Sorry for the confusion, I let the pede take the roach out of my fingers then lifted it up and onto both hands. My friend was to occupied watching if it bit me to take pics while it was first attacking lol. This pede is pretty mellow about everything I wasnt to worried.

    Thelcticopis modesta (orange huntsman)

Nicely said, it was the unwanted rudeness by What that started the whole thing but I didn't get the same impact or message from him. I understand how they are tired of answering the threads that have been answered, I had searched a little on them but wanted advice from someone who had first hand...
