It is hard to see but I couldn't lift the lid without disturbing him. It's the leg that is bent oddly, and there is a clearish-grey dot. To me it looks like the joing because it's not dripping or pooling.
yeah sorry these are terrible pics
My versi sling is about the size of a half dollar. he seems to have one of his legs bent/possibly broken in an unnatural position. I am not able to see blood dripping, but it is right at the joint. Is there anything to do or do I just make sure he is eating ok?
i lost my little versi sling to a bad molt. i cried like a baby. but i also brought back my OBT in an ICU from the brink of death. keep your head up! positive vibes.
I have a lovely male that is not mature. I have seen very conflicting info on water provisions for this species. Do you think they get what they need from their food sources or do you provide water for this arid species? Is it a matter of owner preference at this point?
My little versi sling "Gordo", has passed on. He molted on Saturday, was alive Wednesday, and I found him curled Wed. night. RIP my fuzzy little blue.:(
He just made it to his 5th instar.
i don't see hooks. i have a confirmed female rosie and she will do everything from just sitting there to climbing and digging and webbing ect. yours is gorgeous!
i snagged a sling of this type a few weeks ago at the reptile expo. he is a tiny little guy, bout the size of a quarter. he lets me pick him up and seems content to sit. he has dug out and excavated his quarters though. i can't wait for him to grow. for now he is named lil' bill until i can sex...
ok so in my last post i wasn't down with holding her. however, after my trip to the reptile fair i learned that there isn't anything to be worried about. now i hold my rosie and she doesn't appear to hate it. she is very soothing and calm. it's a neat experience.
