but i should also mention that we do have some stunning t's here.. most of which are not yet identified.. probably a good time to start getting interested in Aussie sp. as lots going on over here presently. Very early stages of the hobby compared to the rest of the world.. lots to look...

    calling oz T enthusiasts

how does everybody keep their deceased Ts?

yeah i do the 80% ethyl as well.. and remember to change it over after a month or so to new ethyl as the body fluids weaken the solution.. unfortunately spiders aren't as easy to preserve as insects, but if you can find a way to dry freeze them... ie dry ice or something, then i hear thats...

    Tarantula substrate.

hi all, peat moss is fairly readily available here in Australia, but personally i prefer coco peat.. It's just coconut fibre shredded really small.. usually comes in compacted bricks that you expand in water... works really well, and has better moisture retaining/absorbing qualities about it...

    Visible Old World Terrestrial T???

hiya, i find that most of my old world terrestrial's (thats all we get here) will happily live outside the confines of the burrow providing you give a tank size that's appropriate.. too big and i never see it, just right and they happily live out in the open but still have a retreat if they...

hi hairymary, where'd you get your Selenotypus plumipes from? got any pics? it most likely isn't what you think it is but some other related species.. and with the heat pad, if you are gonna use one, put it only under only one half of the tank.. but like everyone else has said, if its...

    Chilean Rose handling...

i completely agree with what vanan said.. "it's your viewing pleasure over the t's safety".. so it's your own choice.. but i'd never assume you WON'T get bitten.. but maybe thats just me. but i also certainly don't assume i will either.. but i guess, if you think 'it will bite me' and you...
