i would say ants might be,since your child can watch the queen start a colony lay eggs raise them up to worker ants who then care for her. They require minimal care and its perfect time of the year to find queen wondering about ready to start their own colony.

1) i had 2 females and a male together in a 29 gallon with plenty of hiding areas and my large female killed the smaller one ,and were well fed. so be aware. My also keep them around 70% and 80f with a planted tank and isopods
2) i would not keep them together because of the size differences...
one thing you can do that i do in my invert room is to put wire screen on the vents to make sure none of my inverts get inot the vent but in your case to keep them out of his room
sadly enough the reason i was asking is none of my frineds will let the inverts stay at their house .the only place i can think of for them would be the unattached garage.
On the 30th i will be getting new carpet in the entire house except the T room and was wondering if the fumes are toxic to inverts, i know they are toxic to birds . Thank you for your help.

i got an LP about a month ago it has yet to eat but it isnt getting thin. today when i checked on her she was as if she was dead just not in death curl. I have her in the icu but can anyone tell me what they think it could be oif r this happen to anyone else
that is a cobra i belive that the cobras mouth was threaded shut they also do this with cobras for the "snake Charmers" i have also heard of them cutting off the fangs so they are then harmless to people just to make a buck right
