what happened to my brown spider??!

Hi, cobalts (H. lividium) sure do show some blues (esp. under the right lighting), however, they are a very different species of T from the one pictured (P. metallica), including origin, arboreal vs. terrestrial, venom potency, and most noticeably (aside from true looks), price! these p...

    Bahama Spiders

Immigration/Customs obviously this goes for all foreign countries, but I do a lot of work in the Bs and know that the US immigrations/customs officers are very tough (coming back from Nassau and/or Freeport). Be careful. peace, M

    [Warning] Gerald(Gerry) LaValette

there was a post in another thread (same section of the boards) from CM the moderator that read "EDIT: Have been informed that your privileges have already been removed." so I figured he got the boot. anyway, hope your future T transactions go a LOT smoother than what your RL one sounded...

just to add some balance ....and trust me, I know what it's like to be ripped off, as I currently have a formal federal complaint against two dealers working with each other who took me for some ride last month.... but as I told Eric when he contacted me, yes Gerry sent me a contract, and...

    Most Extreme

ha, funny stuff! well, at least the overall 'intention' of the show (yet, they shouldn't confuse effort with accomplishment) was to educate people on how overall perceptions of these "killers" are not accurate. I also thought it was interesting that the #1 slot didn't go to "spiders" or...

    Most Extreme

I know this was already aired, so sorry if it's been discussed, but I just finished watching Animal Planet's "Most Extreme Beastly Countdown" - the top 10 most feared animals on earth..... Ts won the #1 slot (nice p.regalis -I think- visually showcased....) if you get a chance, try and...

    My new baby

to clarify..... aa- using that desk 'clip lamp' and spacing/angling it about a foot or two away from the outer tank (with the 40w red bulb) would not be the same as using a standard silver heat lamp laid directly on top of the tank (which could be very, very harsh - as mentioned above)...peace , cp

    My new baby

Hey AA, slings are more sensitive overall so warmth be good!....however in your set-up, esp. with the larger tank housing G's smaller container, a 40w bulb should not make things too warm/dry in there for 'her' - if you don't want to run the bulb all day, though, you could look into a small heat...
