I had a "rosehair" that would come to the water dish while I was filling it and get a drink. Currently I have a a. geniculata that hovers over his/her dish when it's empty looking for a drink it seems.

Maybe I'm lucky, but my versi sling and my peru purple sling are doing really well and I've had them for about six months. I feed the versi crickets with tweezers. I stick it through his little web opening right up to his "nose" so he can't miss it. I also keep the heat way up and mist regularly...

Did you notice any poop in the vial? You said it was eating so it makes me wonder if there was a blockage and that caused the T's death. Food goes in but no poop comes out = blockage. This is common in alot of God's creatures, maybe T's too.

I've had T's in all sizes.......the bigger the better. Some species when small are very difficult to keep alive and some grow just too dang slow. If ya really want a T then get a juvie or adult female, then maybe later on get some slings to watch'em grow. Whatever you get keep'em hydrated. I've...
My lividum is about 5 or more inches and when I opened the shipping container to rehouse it she acted as though she was dead then... WHAMMM!!!!! it came alive instantly. Scared the heck outta me. I think this is a game they play.....:D
