LOL don't get mad when I use the same logic against you. Like I said use the "search" function. Obviously you know nothing about t. blondi's. It seems you don't know how to use a "search" button either..........oh yeah I forgot you are just so much smarter than me though. Get real.
Wow you tried to slam me on my question about vent sexing. lol
You know you should really use the "search" function since this has been discussed at great length many times before....seriously ironic
But since I don't expect that you know how to, I'll go ahead and answer them for you

here is a good list of ten based more heavily on terrestrials
b smithi
a geniculata
a versicolor
p murinus
p metallica
t blondi
c cyaneopubescens
c crawshayi
g pulchra
C fimbriatus
So it is true then... I wonder how accurate this is. I know the microscope on an exuvium is the most accurate way to determine.
How accurate is "vent" sexing?

This person claims to be able to determine a tarantula's sex by visual means only. Even shows you how to do it yourself.
That really is incredible. I've got to admit when I saw your first youtube video with just the liner and dirt it didn't seem like it was going to look all the fantastic. But by video 4 I was blown away with just how good looking everything turned out. If you make boa cages that good looking and...
I do like the parahybana and lb for lb both species could be considered to be the largest T. The problem is if I show some noob my collection and they ask if I have a goliath and I say I have a parahybana they are going to think I was too cheap to get the goliath. lol. I could just get them both...
What species would you pick if the Tarantula you could pick had to have some or all of the color on its body match the following colors?
1) White?
2) Yellow?
3) Pink?
4) Red?
5) Silver or Gray?
6) Purple
7) Blue?
8) Green?
9) Black?
10) Brown?
11) Orange?
(Oh yeah...
Well cross 5 slings off the availability list I just ordered them this morning. Thanks for the advice everybody.
My current list of spiders I own below.
5 G. Pulchra Slings Unsexed
1 B. Vagans Sling Unsexed
1 P. Murinus female 4"
1 A. Geniculata female 4"
1 G. Aureostriata female 2"...
lol to be honest not really. I'm working on getting my Engineering degree so I try to rationalize my "impulses" if possible. Trying to explain why I need pet spiders though has never yielded any kind of reasonable answers though. All the Engineers I work with shake their heads and talk smack...
I know that mathematically you can't predict the odds of getting a female but I was wondering if anybody had been "screwed" before. I probably would be upset if at least one was not female however since it takes a long time for them to grow big enough to sex who knows if I care then...
Well money isn't really the deciding factor in this decision. It would be more like a perk as an end result.
What I want from this whole outcome is a female G. Pulchra but a young one that I can raise from sling-hood or whatever. Which is why I won't buy a guaranteed 4" inch female since half...
Ok I kinda dipped into this subject a little bit on a recent post but I'd like to go into more depth since it kinda caught my curiosity. I really need the expertise of this board since I'm still new to this hobby. Kind of a what would you do question also.
Assuming I bought 5 Grammostola...
Well it turns out lots of dealers have unsexed slings listed at .33" large. That seems a bit small. Wonder how hard it is to raise a sling at .33" especially a very expensive sling at around 40 bucks. $40 isn't a lot of money though maybe I should get 2-3 and sell the others. heh heh
I am looking for a G. Pulchra Female around 2"-3". I know they are rare and that makes them expensive but so what I can afford it. PM if you are selling or know where I can find one, please.
If I can't find a Pulchra what other completely black T would be close?
I've looked at...
What is the pinkest tarantula in the hobby?
I know of B. Klaasi and Pamphobeteus Platyomma as the only two pink tarantulas.
With the Klaasi I see in pictures of them as mostly orange not really pink? Is this true most of the time?
With the Platyomma I see only the males are pink. Is...
Yep mine too, she never flicks hair ever. She'd rather bite than flick. Go with the Geniculata. I get alot of personality out of my girl. Chromatus are more aggressive than Genics. One thing I really like about my Genic is how she is always out and about. She will grab 3 crickets at a time to...
