    Strange death

Had one die just like that one time. I had a cover on the cage and the only thing that gave it away was A FREAKIN' FLY IN THE CAGE. I killed the fly.

What Happened to the Scorpion Trade?

I've been away for a while, but it sure looks like things are the same around here. I was really hoping Parabuthus would expand in the U.S, but you know how that went. I will probably be getting out of the trade this next year as kids will be in my future so I will be parting with my latest...

    Parabuthus Transvaalicus Question

I kept one under unfavorable conditions for molting from 2i to 3i for 6 months. Eventually, he did. Other specimens kept under good conditions and feeding once per week tend to really do well.

    Best staple diet

Worms are high in fat with what meat they have available other than the exo ( which is a lot of its weight). I also balance between crickets and worms like others here. Crickets are a very balanced food and offer good nutritional properties as well as roaches, as long as they are loaded...

    Isometrus maculatus question

Well there are species like Androctonus crassicauda that come from different areas and they have different attributes. However, I do not know about this one. Good question.

    Androctonus Australis - Moulting experts

Without proper heating you can prolong the molting process by months. This may be your situation. Between test groups of 2i deathstalkers I had, the two groups (heated and non-heated) had a general difference of two months longer to molt to third instar.
