The best feeder ,Myth or Fact?

Wrong. Unless you consider everything past Mexico as tropical......B. dubia from Argentina and Uruguay live in template areas where temps in winter can drop to 0ºC easily (I've observed and collected them in situ). They are really cool hardy animals...and they make solid feeders indeed...but I...

Need info about Eupalaestrus campestratus species

Hello, where did you get this info? I've raised very small specimens (though not slings) to adults both male and female and they took about 4-5 years to mature. Taking into consideration they were very small but not slings, I would add 2 or 3 years at max. to my raising...summing up 6-7 years...

    Genus Lampropelma

Thanks Chad & Chris! I got the SB-900 and used with the Hakuba bracket that Martin recommended me. It's working nicely and now I got a diffuser that softens the shadows. I still need to practice a lot though! Cheers, Pato

US Dealer Involved in Smuggling revealed in court documents

Then be a man and take it like a man! Most likely he was getting a fine and not even jail time. Be responsible for your actions and take the heat! Or you would become a rat and sell out everybody to save your neck?!?

US Dealer Involved in Smuggling revealed in court documents

I agree with that! And it's even worse when you don't deserve that at all! And let's not forget that Sven is now an illegal immigrant in the US for all the time spent there, and that will cause him even more problems (yes, as ridiculous as it sounds, but true) He's being controlled as a serial...

    Another Pet Shop Story

It's not a secondary reason. It's a consequence of our ''thriving''. The resources could be used properly (not like the average american) and yes we should breed less overall. The planet can't replenish the exploitation we make since at least 20 years. The only reason why the destruction isn't...

    Another Pet Shop Story

Yes, commercial collecting can be terrible indeed. I can only imagine how many thousands are WC and exported to the US only. It's up to the consumers to stop this madness. But I don't see things changing...(for better at least). So governments eventually will do the thing of prohibiting exotic...

    "Tarantulas eject silk from feet"

Interesting topic. Stuart, maybe the additional adherence gives burrowers the advantage of better grip when hunting. The additional adherence scopulae can help picking up the preys, hence more chance of feeding. That's one reason I can think of now. Also, certain features remain from past...
