Sorry about your loss.
I am curious as to what your temps are without the heater? My house sits at 65 and ally T's do great. I even had a furnace go out last winter for days of 50~ degrees without any fatalities so I would be real weary using a heater unless your house is just bitter...
Removed and added a couple things in my main show tank - H. Lividum.
I think the isopods and millipedes destroyed the irish moss I had..It started to spread at first, but the isopods were always seen there, so Im assuming theyre responsible.
I like it, so figured I'd share the update...
Depending on the speed, and size/temperment, I either try to cup them, or get them on a nice piece of corkbark/thicker stick to let them run up out of the enclosure on it.
I just kind of juggle them where they move on the corkbark.
Just guiding it, letting it walk all over it, or eventually...
The centipedes tear it up the most during feeding time, hands down....;P
But T's....My B. Albo is actually a frickin beast at only 3". :}
But, the "Hardest Hitting" T would be, hands down, my P. Ornata. Lightning. :cool:
I'm going to have to throw the book in, and say G. Rosea.
The "rose hair" t's are not that quick, I dont think it getting away from you would be a concern.
Plus, G. Rosea is a hobby standard!
Then after that, you can stock up on others and just "view" them from inside their tank, while...
