Has a thread been started on this yet? If so, please direct me to it. If not, maybe this will be a good place to start. I know I can write a book on the reasons this is not a good plan, but I want to hear some more opinions first. If you're not familiar with this bill, visit this link...

    G. Pulchra molt

Finally, another molt. I bought 2 of these guys last year from James, at 1/4" each, and they molted every month for me until october. Then they just ate alot till January. This one finally molted the other day, into a gorgeous black bug... and bonus, I believe it to be female from what I saw...

    Brand New Ackies

yeah looks good to me after I've done my C to F conversions...lol. That enclosure really looks incredible. Ambient humidity never seemed to do it for me, as those parts of the body always seem to be in contact with the bone dry sand. I've tried so many things. Another solution (but far...

    Brand New Ackies

awesome ackies. I am down to one now, but have been keeping them for years. Can I just offer some advice? Put a heat lamp on your cool end as well to raise it. A 100w lamp on the warm end will be fine, they like a basking area around 130 degrees F. Also, if you are going to keep them on...

Long drive for a T. Was it worth it YOU tell me!!!

[...Oh and what would be a good sized tank be? I was thinking 10x10x15 or my 12x12x18 exo terra. I just want to set her up a place for good and call home to raise Babies... I don't know if the exo terra is to big. Either one of those would be fine. It depends on how big this female is...

    Costa Rican Black Kingsnake??

I breed these at our massive reptile store. They are huge, gentle milk snakes that all start out with a typical red-black-white color scheme that changes to all black as they get older. Very shiny scales, very jet black. To answer your questions about the differences between this one and...

    B. jacksoni BABIES!!!!!!!!!

hi all... i'll most likely be posting them in the FS section when they are ready. Lol yes that is a king mealworm next to her claw, i had dropped it in there right before I lifted her house off of her to check on her. and there were babies crawling all over her mouth, but they all eventually...

    What to get...

Don't forget about these guys tho. I have a pair of these and they are awesome little critters. Loads of personality! And they stay small. http://www.a1reptiles.net/ParoeduraPictus.html

    What to get...

i wholeheartedly disagree. Most milksnakes, kingsnakes etc acheive lengths of over 3 feet. Hognoses, breedable ones anyway are all between a foot and a half to 2 feet long. enclosures that are only 12 inches long are far from suitable for these fairly active animals. childrens pythons...

    help ventral sex

i've learned that with grammostolas that you really can't tell externally. For instance, on of my g. aureos looked really really male on the outside. At 3" when it molted, I took a look inside and found two nice spermathacae. So IME, it's just a guessing game with this genus on the outside...
