    P. Regalis injured - Help

Good to hear. Not sure if the injury happened before or during shipping... like I said it never had issues eating so I didn't have a reason to look too closely.

Did you try feeding him/her yet? Keep me updated! It should be fine.

    Dubia roaches

yeah baby dubias are pretty freakin small... Unless the sling is freakishly tiny you should be fine with dubias.

Is there any insect that you can't feed to a Tarantula?

I'm sure that they will eat anything. But why would you not just stick to the basics? There are reasons crickets and roaches and the other usual suspects are the most common feeders.

    Tarantula Dead or Molting?

Brings new meaning to the term "wet molt" ;) But on a more serious note... sorry for your loss. That's an odd situation... I wonder what was going on.

    Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens???

They're not difficult at all. They can be quick when they wanna be, so I wouldn't say they're the perfect beginner species, but as far temperature, humidity, feeding, etc, they're super easy. They like it dry (just a water dish), they're fine at room temperature, and they're awesome eaters...

    Chromatopelma Cyaneopubescens(GBB) female not eating

11 Days to a Tarantula is like a few minutes to a human when it comes to food... especially after a molt. In fact, if she's a 4 year old female, you probably shouldn't even TRY to feed her until at least a week or so after a molt, as it takes a while for the fangs to harden. As long as she has...

Bad Theraphosa molt :( any advice (pics)

Yeah man this sucks but its definitely possible for your spider to survive this... I'm just one more person who's had this happen, it was with my first LP, a male, probably at about 5 inches. Its amazing how little food they can survive on. But yeah, everyone's pretty much said everything else I...

Lasiodora parahybana are they somewhat arboreal?

Yeah they are kind all over the place... A lot of my T's only use a small corner of their enclosure, or stay around their hide at least... I have my big female LP in a 30 gallon and she's in a different spot just about every time I come home. They're kinda notorious for not hiding. But...

    L. Parahybana Sling

They are hardy, they eat like crazy, the like warmth and humidity, but do just fine at room temp and humidity. I've owned three and none were overly defensive, 2 were extremely easy going. The grow quick, they're cheap... I can't really think of any down sides to them.

And there are also people like me who started with 6 and ended up with 3. They are known for being one of the better ones for communal set ups, but nothing is guaranteed.

    That old world body shape

Just keep in mind they're TINY. Even when full grown mine are only like 2 inches... maybe 3 at the most.

GBB sling here Tuesday Opinions needed

Yeah honestly, as others have said, whatever kind of enclosure, whatever kind of substrate or decor, they're gonna web over all of it and make it their own. Mine is in a 5 gallon with two levels and a ton of little branches for it to climb on and it uses every bit of the enclosure. Its all...

    That old world body shape

I have a P. irminia but it was a free gift and I'll confess I haven't looked into them much except for set up. Do Psalmopoeus have venom like an old worlder? But if not, then I feel like you answered your own question.
