Take care and please let us know how you're doing! Have you tried taking some antihistamines? (not sure if it would work or not). I'm allergic to T hair and will get itchy on my hands etc. cortisone and taking antihistamines normally help.
He contacted me as well, and offered to 'make things right,' which of course, never happened. I don't understand what the point is of contacting everyone if he has no intentions of following through on it.
He did send me this website--saying it was his, for anyone who is interested...
I'm quite upset. My 8" A. geniculata girl had a bad molt. I've had her for over a year and she molted fine last year, but not this year... I noticed she was getting ready to molt because her abdomen was getting huge. Then a week ago, I noticed it look smaller and she refused food from me...
I love this species and also feel they're underrated. I wish you the best of luck! I bred my female and got an egg sac from her last year but it was infertile. :-(
I don't know about any stores in DE, but I can say there aren't too many stores in MD--there are a few, and there is one in PA that I know. Otherwise I order my Ts online.
Yeah, they're becoming mine too. I just got a female C. huahini which is smaller. She's about 4-5". Even she came out of her shipping cup with some attitude--she stood up on all her legs and refused to move, no matter how much prodding I did. I had to wait for her to move on her own time, lol.
It's actually an amazing story, and your little guy is a keeper. I've had my big girls chew on their mesh lids, but nothing any smaller.
Welcome to the club.
