several years ago I had a Nile monitor that was also eating fuzzy's . I bought one to feed him but he wasn't interested in it .So after about 12 hours I took it out and desided to keep it because I couldn't bring it back to the mother (forget why) .My sister in law and i desided to try and save...
I can't even get their website to come up . I emailed them a few months ago to see if they had anything new but never got a response so I don't even know it there still in buisness .
My first REALLY hobby would be fish . I started out with a 20 gallon fresh water tank and they just grew in size from there . Now I have a 120 gallon freshwater planted tank and a 150 gallon reef tank . Wish I would have found T's sooner , it would have been sooo much cheeper then a reeftank .
How come you never see any T.Blondi slings for sale anywhere ? I understand there relatively hard to breed ( hence their high price ) but it seems like all there ever is are mature Blondi's for sale (5"-6"and over). I've been roaming here for roughly a year or so and don't recall ever seeing any...
they are awsome , I always wanted to get one or two for my tank but its a 120 gallon planted and they would destroy the plants . Have you ever seen the pure white ones ? they are beautiful also .
Any book store should be able to order you a T book . This is a link I have about T magazines http://www.angelfire.com/oh3/elytraandantenna/ , you should be able to order it .
edit . forgot to add , to order the mags its at the bottom of the page .
I ordered mine through "Tarantula Ranch ". She was out of Oregon but think she was moving , but either way . Email her if way want and see what she has and if she can ship to Cananda .
Hey don't feel bad ,if thats what they go for up there then theres not to much you can do about it . I'm sure there are things you can get a lot cheeper then we can . So the next time you take a trip to Disney bring me some down :D
When I got mine it was about 3/4" and was only $8 with $8 for shipping (I went priority)and she threw 2 more in as freebies . I put mine in a 4x6 container and they seem to like it . Two of them started digging right away . Now they are about 2"-2 1/2" and 2 of them stay out most of the time but...
traps
I don't think it would work for the simple fact that a lot of animals trying to chew at the glue . My mother had a rat in her enclosed pool area, and I tried everything to catch this thing with no luck . I had to resort to a glue trap and when I found it it looked like it tried to chew...
tanks
yeah I get all my tanks for free too , sometimes its good to be the garbage man lol my best score so far is my 150 gallon thats now my reef tank .
You want a defensive T? This was a little story taken from "Tarantula Ranch" , she breeds and sells them and I thought this story about a Black Earth Tiger was funny but I don't think I would ever want one if they're all like this one . Read on and enjoy .
And to the owner of Tarantula Ranch...
