hi i bought superworms from my local pet store about 2 weeks ago. i left them alone in my T cupboard for about a week and half and these flies have took over the container. the wood shavings seem to be moist... i have no idea how this happened. when i checked it the container was open a bit...
i was preparing eco-earth coconut fiber for my new terrarium and some fell on the floor and my teacup poodle ate a little bit of it, i think. just wondering if it may be harmful to him because i remember reading about a dog that ate cypress mulch or something and died b/c it had some ingredient...
ah, darn it all. i just found a similar looking lump on her left front leg. gotta wait for the gf to come back before i go to the vet though, which is a couple of more hours... :wall:
my dog has a pink area near her nose. before, it was brownish black then a couple of hours later it turned into that pink color... this happened only yesterday.. i don't know what happened to her or what it is. can someone please help in identifying what is wrong with my dog? my neighbor says...
I, too, am having this problem...but not just in one room but rather various rooms of the house. besides eliminating the possibility for the rats/mice to reach food what else can i do to make them stop coming? ie: what else is considered attractive to them?
i was out looking for T's but instead i came home with a scorpion (flat rock is what the pet shop said it was). anyway, can i keep the scorpion the same way i keep my Ts? any special differences that pertain to scorp keeping that don't pertain to T keeping? i currently have it on coconut fibre...

is it safe for T's to feed on goliath worms? the guy at the pet store said they might be bad for my Ts. so now i'm not sure. i'm guessing, though, they can't be bad because T's can't be picky about food in the wild right?
hi. does anyone know what kinds of flies grow in roach bins? and if they are harmful in any way? these flies kinda jump more than fly. i had one on my floor and it was just hopping around but they do have the capabilities to fly. they're pretty small... i'd say 1/10 of an inch or so. they have...
mine also died for no apparent reason, outside of it's burrow. well it wasn't dead but it was really weak, no real death curl. but i think mine died of dehydration... don't really know. =(
