Hehe. I never tried TR but i think I would chose it over WOW any day. I play Ultima Online (Richard Garriot's earlier creation). Play for a drow on a rp server, species that worship and protect spiders. Some of my characters have spiders as pets, others as mounts.

Thats what I thought. But I remember someone saying something against it here like half a year ago. I cannot seem to find that thread now, so I wanted to clarify.
Heres my tarantulas' names:
P. murinus #1 - Bully (for its threat displays when i look at it)
P. murinus #2 - Hunter (this guy webs like crazy)
H. maculata - Flash (well he's like super duper fast)
L. Parahybana - Lloth (spider goddess of the drow)
G. Aureostriata - Locks (like in Goldie...
As you have probably read already, you will get as many opinions about the first T as there are people on these forums. It looks like you have researched quite a bit already by yourself, and all tarantulas you listed seem to be good for a beginner (except maybe H lividum, those are nasty little...
Brachys are not known for their great appetite. With this size you should attempt feeding him at least a week after the molt.
Oh and i dont think a size of his enclosure stresses him out.. i mean... tarantula... small brain...

Once, I put a mealworm that managed to dig itself in in under 1 minute when i was putting the rest of those guys away. I tried to find it for 30 mins, found nothing and gave up :(
When I woke up the next morning, mealworm was already half eaten...;P
As i said it has molted very recently, so its abdomen looks small. And yes, I have put a water dish (a coin with water on it (hold water for couple of hours btw :) )) But it doesnt move around to drink it.
Thank you for all your input, guys. I keep watching him, with temps at ~75. I think he moves less and less every day, but we'll see what happens (hoping for the best :))
