Purchased several T's from him, and he was extremely proactive about communicating shipping windows, delays, and resolving a very minor issue with one of the specimens he discovered as he was packing it up to ship.
Absolutely great experience and would recommend to anybody.
Put in an order Saturday Night at 9:45PM, within 15m GA reached out to me to confirm the order and select which Fedex location for Hold for Pickup, They shipped on Monday and were in my hands Tuesday Morning with no problems. Everybody was very well packed and in great condition.
I have a couple avics that have tubed up in hard to reach positions. I prekill prey items and leave them as close as I can get them to the T and it seems to work out well enough.
Or just wait for them to stroll their way to a convenient re-cupping location. The last time I handled my MM Irminia he casually walked up my arm and around on to my back for a minute or two before strolling back around to my chest where I could snag him.
Don't know what kind of ventilation you had on the enclosure without pics, but it may have been too little. Seems to be themost common factor in S.A.D.S.
Pulchra are slow growers but they really only slow down once they hit 3" or so. So I'd say go for it and get a sling. My 3 pulchra slings molt on average about once every 1-2mo. (feeding 1/week) which I don't consider to be terribly slow.
