So I've caught a small painted turtle, and now I'm setting up the tank. I just have a question about the inside environment. If possible, I would like to have a pond inside the tank (for the turtle to swim into), and a dry area consisting of gravel/rocks (for the turtle's basking area). Question...
What can I put in my 5 gallon tank? No arachnids/insects please. Mainly looking for lizards/amphibians/turtles.
EDIT:
Here's another question as well:
Could a green anole and a green tree frog and a hermit crab live together?
My fat female hamster has been in the same corner, same position, all day. She has not moved at all since yesterday. She's still alive, but barely. She does not respond back. She only moves and shakes slightly when I shake the cage slightly (shaking the cage is the only way I can find out...
Same as title. My friend wants to know.
EDIT:
I have a question myself,
Could a crested gecko live on a staple diet of that commercial crested gecko diet for its entire life, without eating a single insect?
I think something might be wrong with my hamster. Just over the past 2-3 days, my hamster has been weirdly shaking/flittering/scratching all over. It's also been 'rolling' around in her pee/poo area, which is disgusting. If you ask me, it definitely does not look like normal hamster behaviour...
It's quite funny how everybody who posted in this thread (except for some) are like "Oh, I know how you feel," and then all of all sudden they tell their own stories. I mean, dudes, nobody wants to hear your stories. This thread is about Craiger's story...not your stories. Take "bluefrogtat2"...
Dude...the false bottom setup is to up the humidity up in the high 70s and low 90s within the tank...not quite sure what you're talking about.
I'm just wondering if it could work instead of spraying the tank daily...
LOL are you kidding me. How did I not make sense? I just said "Agreed" and "Quit crying" and "Humans > Scorpions", and you have trouble understanding it? Errr...:?
Oh also, might I suggest you read the thread more thoroughly.
I know crested geckos need high humidity, and well, for those of you who are familiar with the "false bottom" setup used for tropical scorpion species, would it work for crested geckos?
