Note to self: wax worms make booty go big. It was on a diet of mealworms before, being fed every month or so, and it’s butt was half the size. I decided to give it a wax worm to change things up a bit, and I go to check on it and all I see is this 😂
I don’t think it’s a male simply by its not leggy and I haven’t seen it move around. Like, at all. But I can’t confirm tho cuz all its molts are in its burrow
I THINK IT WORKED ITS MOVING AROUND NOW!!!
It did a little bit there’s still a bubble of water over it’s mouth. I used a straw and put my finger over one end to deliver the water and I put a bit too much
Possibly, but idts. It hardly moves around at all. Basically a pet rock. Even while feeding it’ll slowly walk up to the worm and slowly grab it. Never once seen it bolt or pounce or threat pose or anything rlly
Hey, so I was checking up on my T’s, when I noticed my P lugardi was not only out and about, but also curled up (last molt was late September) and I started to worry. I’ve only fed it super worms and it never had a problem eating even when in premolt but this time it almost crawled a few steps...
Alright so I closed up the skull holes (leaving it in there for aesthetic purposes) and it made its way to the sticks. I checked on it this morning and it started burrowing at the base. And yes, I am getting some cork bark later today
So I have a 3.5 in P irminia that webbed a lot in its old enclosure but mostly stayed on the ground and tried to burrow. I recently rehoused it (yes I already posted that) and I gave it a hide with enough substrate to burrow like what I do for my terrestrial species and sure enough that’s where...
So I recently rehoused my P irminia into this. I’ve had it for about half a year and I noticed that it resembles a semi arboreal behavior so I gave it a semi arboreal enclosure. The skull has two holes in it allowing for burrowing if it so desires (it dug around a lot but didn’t have enough sub...
Well, I do have pretty good grades and she knows I do stuff around the house but it’s not entirely about getting new spiders; it’s also about freeing up some space for a little while, getting at least a little cash cuz I doubt anyone is gonna think two adults for two slings is a fair deal...
I’m not nearly as experienced as other ppl but I’m currently keeping a baboon and p irminia with very few problems between the two I’ve done a total of 7 rehouses and I always take every precaution I can when dealing with them.
