    I doubt if this is H lunula, but it can very well be a Heteropoda sp. It does appear to be a mature male.

    I found the article that was sent to me from Germany. On our German forum I was told by very knowlegeble people that T modesta is now H davidbowie. I did not say T modesta doesn't exist. Can you send me your e mail, I can't attach the file, because it's too big.

    The blue and white one, by the way, is known as Runcinia. Seperate genus.

    H davidbowie was known as T modesta. Revision has now put this species in the genus of Heteropodas. T modesta therefor no longer exists. But many people only know the former name.

    Heteropoda=Sparassidae. There are several Heteropoda species in Malaysia. Unfortunatly there is little info on the web about anything other then H venatoria, H boiei and H davidbowie (aka T modesta).

    Found a T in a crate of imported plants at work. Normally I find true spiders, but this time it was a tarantula. The shipment came from Honduras. Unfortunatlly she died the next day, eventhough she ate and drank. She was about 3 inches (legs included), the color on the carapace looks like that...

    The correct name is Cerbalus. Also known as Sinai desert huntsman. I have a few of these. There is a thread about this species on the forum here somewhere.

    I'm going to buy this one later this week. Sol as Gorgyrella golden leg trapdoor. But I've done some reading and it seems that Gorgyrella is often not the correct name. Does anyone know the exact scientific name of this spider: (from Tanzania)
