HELP!!! D. Panama in death curl

I know what booklungs are, I was just worried because this was such a small sling that I did not want to put water on it and risk covering the booklungs as well. This is the enclosure. It's just reptisoil, a bit of coco fiber and some sphagnum moss. I would usually spray one corner to offer...

HELP!!! D. Panama in death curl

Very little, there's some movement with the legs. I don't know if there are water dishes for something so small, but no, just because I didn't have one for this tiny sling. But since it's a d. Panama I've always kept the enclosure moist and I've fed it regularly, every other day to every 2 days.

HELP!!! D. Panama in death curl

That was my first thought. I'm using a small paintbrush to try and give them a few small drops without covering their booklungs. Is there anyway it might improve? I seriously don't know why this happened they were doing fine :(

HELP!!! D. Panama in death curl

Please help! I've had this sling for a few months and they've been doing fine, eating and they had a molt back in September when I got them. They haven't shown any sluggish behaviour or anything but today I found them in a death curl. I don't know what to do, it's such a small species I'm scared...

Comment by 'Cassey' in media 'Amazonius elenae molt sexing'

She is very gorgeous!!! She was kind of a dark brownish before but it's lightened up to more of a tanish? And she's still got those gorgeous orange patterns on her abdomen. I think out of all my T's I can't wait to see her full-grown the most 😊

Thank you so much! I was getting kinda worked up about it. I never noticed how tiny the spermathecae are but thank you for pointing them out!

    Amazonius elenae molt sexing

Bought this girl a few months ago and she just gave me a molt. She was sold to me as a female but I can't seem to see a flap? Can someone help confirm if she's a male or female? "She" is an Amazonius elenae.

I think they still count as a juvenile since they were only roughly 3" in legspan (maybe a little under)? I don't know if that would be big enough to sex but if anyone could help I'd really appreciate it :) I think they're a male since I can't really see a flap but I want a second opinion.

    Information on Amazonius?

I've recently discovered the Amazonius genus and I've been trying to find some information on the tarantulas but I can hardly find anything anywhere. I know that they've gone through a few genus name changes but even when searching up the older names, I can't seem to find anything. Does anyone...

    Eresus Walckanaeri (I think it's a boy)

They really are! Thank you so much for confirming. I'm just a little disappointed that I won't see how large the females are in person but he's still a gorgeous lil bugger

    Eresus Walckanaeri (I think it's a boy)

Now a lot of context is needed here! Or maybe not. I got a tiny little E. Walckanaeri last year in September 2019, and she was the smallest thing, maybe less than a centimeter long. Now a year and a couple of months have passed, with many molts, but a recently discovered molt had me a little...

    My C. Versicolor experience

Yeah! First time was my fault definitely, not sure about today though. I'm gonna make some changes to see if the behaviour will get better!

    My C. Versicolor experience

I'm not sure if I could, it opens from the top so I'm thinking that those amac boxes (i think thats how you spell it) would probably be a lot better and maybe a bit more spacious too. I'll be sure to put in a dish instead though! Thank you. Also, your sling is super cute! It looks like they're...

    My C. Versicolor experience

Well it's not quite a tank, I just refer to it as that, really its just a container. It's 10x5cm and he's about 2cm in diameter, It does feel a little short but he's been webbing fine. Also by watering I just do a little spritz since he's fairly small.

    My C. Versicolor experience

(I'm sorry if I butcher the Latin name at any point in this thread) It's been a while! I don't think I've mentioned this before but I got another sling in July! My C.Versicolor. And what an exciting hell its been. I expected this T to be a bit tougher than my other two, mainly cause I heard...

Update! (2 new T's and some sad news)

Hi! It's been a while since I was ever on the Arachnoboards. Last time, it was August 2019 and I was inquiring about the E. Walckenaeri. The good news is that in September 2019 I did end up getting her/him! While I don't have the pictures of her when she was little since they're on my old phone...
