Doubled in size in 2 months and she's still not even a year old. She's already pushing 6 inches at a bit over 10 months, so I'm guessing I'll the up with one of those super big Theraphosas. She's also pretty calm. I think this is quickly becoming my fav spider.
She went from the size of an adult cricket, about 1 inch, to almost 6 inches in less than 1 year. When they say these Ts grow fast, they ain't kidding. A must have spider or your collection ain't complete.
This is my giant hmpk betta fish. They're absolutely gorgeous, or maybe I like colorful animals too much. 4 months old and already 3.5 inches lol. I been told this species can reach 6 inches but I'm expecting 5 for this one.
Haven't fed her yet, think it's still too early. Still a bit skittish as she usually is fresh from a molt but no hair kicking and still relatively calm. I adore this girl. Along with my T blondi, G pulchra, B albiceps, and B emilia, they're my top 5 favs. (The first 3 are my top 3 though 😂)
As of today, no generative AI can write an entire thesis even for an unaccredited school or college, much less for university students trying to get a professional degree (healthcare, law, physics etc).
They could help with certain boring parts, so they can save you sometime but if you let one...
Google lens is computer vision, and a pretty robust one at that. It's not generative or generalized. It does one thing only but it does it really well.
To be fully honest, I think this is the best possible use for generative AI; to get a summary of what most sources on the Internet says. You...
Exactly. If anything this test proves that this hobby has come a long way since the days of sponges for water dishes 😂. Like you said, the main reason why it's giving (mostly) correct answers is because (at least for this topic) most people and sources are no longer sharing outdated or incorrect...
Some people say generative AI is the future of the internet, and since most new hobbyists get their information from the Internet I decided to see if the "best" generative AI (Chat GPT 4.0) is, at least as of now, a half decent source of information for a brand new keeper.
1. Are tarantulas...
They don't bite in the same way that most vertebrates do, as they don't have jaws. Their fangs fold parallel to each other too, and not in a pincer shape unlike true spiders. What they do is they bring their fangs down with their entire body weight while using their pedipalps to pull their prey...
Some moisture dependant Ts would benefit from a bioactive setup.. like T blondi. Plus, that's something they have in nature. I'm not saying it's impossible to keep them in a plastic box full of dirt only, but technically bioactive is more natural and perfectly ok for them.. regardless of it...
There's nothing wrong with live plants for the most part. Ts will uproot some plants, which would kill them, but I've had success with many Ts that simply didn't care about the plants. If your T keeps killing or chewing the plants then bioactive might not be an option. I know a guy who had...
Unpopular opinion, but I don't miss them much. They kinda self selected themselves out of the hubby! They grow extremely slow, and the ones I'm familiar with were pet rocks and had shit appetite. Not to mention that, other than the red color form, they look night special. You would be waiting...
You can say a deer caused a crash, I can believe that.. but saying a tarantula caused the crash is dumb and stupid.. the driver didn't react right and that's what caused the crash. We all make mistakes, and I hope everyone makes full recovery, but don't pin the blame on the spider 🙄
