Can't post my vids, also cannot find a thread with simple instructions on doing so. I could be overlooking it but can someone make it easy for me? Thanks to anyone that can help.
Me: Here you go T Albo, I built you a new home with a nice hide & I even made you a starter burrow!!! Have at it!!!
T Albo: I’ll just use this little hole in the corner you made with the back of the paintbrush to water the substrate.
😩😩🤦🏾♂️
It took my time & effort to make that burrow & this...
Dropped a cricket in the enclosure for my Versicolor sling, however the cricket was crippled due to me mistakenly smashing it when I grabbed it with the tongs. It wasn’t moving much and my sling seemed to not notice it was in there, so I left it overnight. Morning comes, cricket still in the...
I do have holes close to substrate on sides and front. Then I have some up high on both side and the back. I did mist the enclosure but that not in my plans moving forward, I definitely won’t be having the enclosure that wet when the T arrives. With that said, do you believe I still need more...
I purposely put excess water in belief that it’ll dry up a bit by the time Wednesday come. I really only had plans on adding water to the water dish from here on out. Not as much the substrate. Should the substrate be changed, it’s mixed with sphagnum moss and vermiculite.
So far so good. My A Genic sling who just molted 5-6 days ago is feeding once again, she took down her first live meal. I dropped a cricket in the enclosure and immediately my girl went to town on that thing. The cricket itself probably was the same size of my T so of course her abdomen is...
**UPDATE FROM YESTERDAY’s POST*
I was spot on with my guesstimate yesterday, I measured the molt of my A Genic & it was a fraction under 1”. So that should put her over an inch freshly molted, I’m happy she seems to be doing well. Can’t wait for the next molt :pompous:
Woke up this morning to a freshly molted A Genic sling. All limbs are intact, now I’m waiting for her to leave the hide so I can grab the molt and give it a measure. She looks to be over an inch long maybe an inch and a half, but I’m just guesstimating.Pictures coming soon!!!
Talk about a T getting settled into a new enclosure, I can’t settle down after getting a new sling until it eats. Yesterday night I came home with a tiny cricket for my C. Versi. Only had her for a week so I wasn’t really worried about her not eating, but figured I try something different since...
Flight before fight my butt. My Versicolor attacked the paintbrush the first 3 times I tried to prod her into her new enclosure. I was expecting a high speed chase around the bathtub but this was more like a police/bank robber stand off. Yup, all fight... no flight. I may have a Fiesty one on my...
